Las Vegas attracts millions of business travelers from around the world annually. Most of these travelers come to Sin City for the numerous conventions that fill each week of the year. The local hospitality industry has grown around the convention business to support the constant influx of visitors.

Although, the numerous options for exhibits and meeting space leaves many asking where the best venue for their convention might be?

The Las Vegas convention Center is the largest and most well known space in the city. It is operated by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. They manage the enormous 3.2 million square feet of space at the convention facility. Approximately two million square feet of that is devoted strictly to exhibit space. As a result, some of the largest conventions in the world call Sint City home. You will find CONEXPO, SEMA and CES at the Convention Center each year.

Just north of the Convention Center is the Las Vegas Hilton. Walking South from the hotel to the adjacent convention center takes just a few minutes. The Hilton hotel also features its own convention center which includes meeting and exhibit space. The hotel portion of the building is somewhat dated, but very well equipped for the modern conventioneer or business traveler.

Another option for conventions is the Venetian Hotel. Its Sands Expo Center and Venetian Congress facility are sometimes used as overflow exhibit space for conventions that are too large for the convention center. Its 1.8 million square feet of combined event and meeting space is also large enough to be the primary location for a number of sizeable conventions. The adjoining hotel is very nice and well suited for business travelers. It has great restaurants, shopping and nightlife.

Las Vegas is the perfect convention destination. With convenient transportation options, ample lodging and first class exhibit space, Sin City is the preferred convention space for most marquee conventions.
